Allen McCarter
Allen McCarter was the third child of Fannie (McCarter) Lee. Fannie was sold into slavery into Burnt Corn, Alabama and forced to leave his sister Jane McCarter behind. Allen was sold for $200 alone with his mother Fannie, for $2000 to a slave owner in by the name of Enoch Salter in the Green Street area of Burnt Corn, Alabama. After slavery ended Allen was able to visit with his sister Jane that was left in Georgia.Allen siblings from Fannie are:Charles,
