Burnt Corn Grocery is also known today as WATSON GROCERY. This store is now own by the Joseph Watson Estate and managed and operated by Joseph Watson, Jr. known in Burnt Corn as "Sonny." During the early 1980s, Joseph Watson, Sr. purchased this property from Comer Booker. Mr. Booker had previously purchased this property from the Eddin Mosley Estate in the 60s. Mr. Booker torn down the original building and replaced it with the existing building in this picture. The Old Mosley Store was built as the Hairton's Store located south on main street Burnt Corn.
