Charles Ridgill was Roberta Marshall-Ridgill-McMillan first husband. Charles was from Manning, South Carolina, but meeting and marrying
Roberta, they move to Wheeling, West Virginia. It is assumed that they meet while attending Tuskegee Institute (Tuskegee University today).
Charles and Roberta had four children: Theola, Charles, Jr., George and Nellie Mae. Charles meet an untimely death at an early age.
