George W. Marshall, Jr. was the eighth child of George and Nellie Marshall. He married Donie Crook, sister of Lizzie Royster, and they moved to Cincinnati, Ohio where they spent the rest of their lives. They had no children, but he was a father figure for his niece, Carlie.
