James "Jimmy" Marshall

James “Jimmy” Marshall, the seventh born to George and Nellie, Jimmy married Lorene Lee and reared his family in Burnt Corn. They had ten children: Willie James, Clyde, Frizell, Ezell, Lorena, Leola, Fannie Mae, Edward, Quiney, and Benjamin, Leola and Quiney. Jimmy attended the local public school, he was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and worked for many years at the Peterman Pole Mill. His children and grandchildren remember with joy of their father

Sadie Mae Irvin-Bell was eldest child of Frezell Marshall-Irvin on May 13, 1947. She had two daughters: Veronica Irvin-Hayes and Dawn Renee Irvin. One grandson, Xavier Hayes. She married Maurice Bell. Sadie died on July 7, 2002.

Willie Irwin is the third child born to Frezell Marshall –Irvin. Willie is the owner of Duraclean Irvin in Lawndale, California. He married Denise Young and they had five children and three grandchildren. He also married a lady by the name of Cookie.

Edward "Bit" Marshall
Edward (Bit) Marshall is third born to James (Jimmy) and Lorena Marshall. He was born on October 17, 1919, and passed away on July 10, 1997. He joined the Bethal Baptist Church and attended the local public schools. He was drafted and served in the Army during World War II. After the war, he worked at the paper mill in Pascagoula, Mississippi. He returned to the Burnt Corn Green Street community and married Bertha lee Harris in 1946. They had nine children: Judy, Shirley Jean, Marshall Hawthorne, Clara Marshall Lee, James Allen Marshall, Noemi Marshall, Willie Edward Marshall, Mark Katherine Marshall Lee, James Allen Marshall, David Lewis Marshall, Woodrow Wilson Marshall, Coretta Marshall Thomas.

Shirley Jean Marshall Family
Shirley Jean Marshall Hawthorne married Mae Autor Hawthorne, their children are: Vincent (Alcira), Terrence, and Brenda, Grandchildren are: Brandon, Shakira, Desiree, Kendreen Robertson and Kendreenna Robertson.
