THOMAS GRACEY

Thomas Aaron Rumbley (1838-1928) married Alabama Crook (1849-1931) on December 21st, 1870, at the home of her father, William B. Crook. They were the parents of ten children. For most of their married lives, they lived in the house of Major Crook, who left the house to this daughter of his second wife, Martha Marshall Agee Crook.

Thomas Grace, Sr. (1740-1806) was born in Maryland. He moved in about 1790 to Georgia. He was the father of twelve children. One of his children was James Grace (1769-1859) who was born in Maryland and moved to Georgia with his wife Nancy Jane Betts (1775-1865). They were the parents of ten children. They eventually settled in Burnt Corn, Alabama. Descendants live in Alabama.
