****PILGRIM REST A.M.E. ZION
**** Pilgrim Rest A.M.E. Zion Church in Burnt Corn will hold its 70th Church Anniversary Program on Sunday, Feb. 13th at 2:30 p.m. Theme will be "Building A New Church for a New Millennium." Sermon by Rev. Jeffery Davis, Pastor of Milledgeville A.M.E. Zion Church, Owassa. Special guests include the Rev. Lance Moore and the First United Methodist Church of Monroeville. Music by Milledgeville's Choir and the Sandy Grove Male Chorus. Dinner will be served. The public is invited.
****The Watson Family Reunion will be held in Chicago, Illinos during July 21 - 23, 2000. This year's theme is "O' Se BaBa" which means, "Thank You Father" in swahili. For information contact Earl Stallworh (773)239-0734, Margaret Stallworth (773)994-0659, or John Stall (773)483-7444.
****There is an annual Burnt Corn Community Reunion each year held in August and we will keep you posted on that event.
****The Watson Family gave their mother Hettie (Irene Tate) Watson a suprised 80th birthday party on November 25, 1999 at Bethany Baptist Church.
****The Marshall Family planning to have a Marshall Family Reunion in Burnt Corn in July of 2000.
