Sallie Ryland Armstrong
Sallie Ryland Armstrong (1872-1905) is the wife of John "Jack" Armstrong (1868-1941) and mother of Betty, John B, Annie Liza, Arma, Clarianna, Clarence and Elvira. Sallie mother is believed to be Amanda Ryland (1802 - ?) and her father is unknown. Sallie was born in Burnt Corn, Alabama. She married John B. "Jack" Armstrong on June 18, 1983 in Monroe County, Alabama. she died as a young mother in 1905 at the age of 33. she is the grandmother of Joseph Lee "Joe" Watson
