Maggie (Tait) Preyear

Maggie (Tait) Preyear is the daughter of James (Jim) Tait and Irene Marshall and the sister of Hettie Irene (Tait) Watson.Maggie married John Henry Preyear and they had four children:John, Roger, Carvin and David. Maggie grandparents on her mother's side were Nellie Lee and George Marshall and on her father side were Hettie Tait and John Dukes. Her great grandparents on her mother side were Fannie Lee and Joe Lee and on her father side were John Tait and Rachael Tait.

Maggie Tait is the sixth child of Jim and Irene Tait. Maggie was born August 16, 1913. Maggie married John H, Preyear and they had four children: John, Roger, Carvin, and David.

John D. Preyear, Maggie and John Henry (Shag) oldest child married Dorothy, and they have on daughter, Johnya, who is in college.

Roger Preyear moved to California and passed away leaving no children.

Carvin Preyear their third child and only daughter has two children: David Garfiled and ______.

David Preyear (Scooter Bill) married Lena Richardson and they have two children: Mitzie and Kristie. He also has two granddaughters: Averie and Emerie. David is a Water Treatment Operator.

Maggie passed away on August 15, 2003. she is remembered for passion for grooming beautiful plants.
